Summary

This experiment uses baking soda and vinegar to create foam and helps students understand chemical reactions. It describes reactants and products, then has teams run multiple trials that change the amounts of reactants to control how much foam forms. Students practice measuring accurately, keeping the procedure consistent, recording results, and comparing findings with classmates to show how reactant amounts affect the products of a reaction.
