Summary
Build self-confidence by connecting how you act and how you care for your body. This 4‑H lesson for grades 4–8 defines self-confidence, personal hygiene, and decorum (manners), and shows how respectful behavior can help people feel comfortable and support friendships. Students brainstorm examples like saying please/thank you, waiting turns, excusing themselves, positive attitude, and respecting personal space. Includes quick group and partner activities.
