Summary

Beginner 4-H entrepreneurship outcomes introduce what entrepreneurs do and the traits that help them succeed, including resiliency and learning from failure. Youth complete self- and social-skills inventories, explore passions and strengths, and develop project ideas with tools like a vision board. The guide also introduces basic business terms and planning steps, such as identifying markets, stakeholders, competition, needed resources, costs, profit, break-even, and ongoing needs for a product or service.
