If you have questions about this resource, contact your county Extension office.
Summary
Advanced 4-H outcomes focus on creating and evaluating photo and video projects while teaching others. Youth develop educational materials on cameras, settings, equipment, composition, and editing, and critique images for techniques like rule of thirds, rule of odds, focal points, lighting, leading lines, and symmetry. Videography work expands to planning, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing a longer video production. Participants also practice advanced editing tools, review others’ edits, and build a portfolio while researching training and careers in photography and videography.
