Summary
An intermediate 4-H creative arts and design project that strengthens skills in visual arts, crafts, and interior design through practice, critique, and presentation. Youth build proficiency with different materials and techniques, apply design elements and principles, and explore color concepts. Activities include studying artists and cultural storytelling through art, preparing and curating work for display, and evaluating craftsmanship. Interior design tasks add space planning basics, creating design boards, reading and drawing scaled room plans, learning about lighting, and exploring furnishings through store visits.
