Summary
An intermediate 4-H citizenship project that builds civic knowledge and leadership skills through hands-on learning about government and elections. Activities include comparing state and federal systems, branches of government, and political parties, plus exploring how bills are created and studying Tennessee’s legislative process. Youth practice informed voting by researching candidates and issues, learn about U.S. citizenship testing, examine election systems in other countries, and develop communication skills through exhibits, speeches, and debate.
