Summary
A 4-H beef education set that builds skills from breed recognition to cattle production and marketing. Includes a photo-based lesson and buzzer game to identify common beef and dairy breeds and their uses. Beginner through advanced Beef Project outcomes cover industry sectors, breeds and body parts, genetics and EPDs, nutrition and digestion, reproduction and breeding tools, health and welfare, carcass cuts and USDA grading, performance records, and basic economics and marketing. Suggested activities include Skillathon, judging, and Beef Quality Assurance, with advanced options like Master Beef Producer.
