Summary
Outcome list for an advanced 4-H performing arts and recreation project that builds creativity, critique skills, and leadership in theatre, music, dance, and recreation. Youth write and perform original theatre pieces and explore careers in performance and technical design, including creating set and costume designs. In vocal performance, participants compose music, perform in different group settings, and evaluate performances across genres while creating teaching tools for younger members. Dance activities include performing multiple styles, mastering technique and timing, and critiquing self and others, with career exploration and teaching resources. The project also expands indoor and outdoor recreation through safety education, global comparisons, performance evaluation, and exhibits, and includes shooting sports safety, equipment knowledge, event self-evaluation, and research on Second Amendment history and debates.
