Summary

Outcome list for a beginner 4-H performing arts project that introduces youth to theatre, vocal performance, and dance. Participants learn basic story and character structure for plays, the actor-audience relationship, and key theatre terms, along with the role of sets, costumes, and lighting. In music, youth practice reading basic notation and time signatures and use breathing and warm-ups to support singing. In dance, they learn how music is counted, compare dance styles, and follow instruction to perform simple choreography.
