Summary

Off-target movement of herbicides from nearby pastures and roadsides can seriously damage grapevines, reducing yield and fruit quality and sometimes leading to costly disputes. This resource outlines factors that increase the risk of off-target injury and describes preventative steps growers and applicators can take through planning, application practices, equipment care, site awareness, and communication to help protect vineyards.
