Summary

Without water there is no food. Fresh water supplies are facing increasing pressure globally from climate change and growing populations. Water is a neglected, and often ignored, dependency that threatens our ability to feed an ever-increasing global population. Many areas of the world currently face water scarcity. Ensuring that sufficient water is available in the future will become increasingly challenging as various sectors of the economy compete for what freshwater is available.
