A group lesson plan on soft skills that employers value and that help people get hired, keep a job, and advance. Participants discuss what makes a good employee, then learn key soft skill areas such as interpersonal skills, integrity, professionalism, initiative, dependability, adaptability, lifelong learning, communication, and teamwork, with practical behaviors for each. Includes guided discussion on applying soft skills during job searches and at work, plus a brief evaluation and information on Skill Up Tennessee employment and training support.
